CAN I TALK WITH YOU BEFORE SCHEDULING A SESSION?
Absolutely! Finding the right therapist is a lot like dating, and sometimes we go on a few bad dates before we find the right fit. DO YOU OFFER SLIDING SCALE FEES?
I fully understand that sometimes the cost of services can be prohibitive, so I do hold a limited number of sliding scale spots on my caseload. If you are interested in a sliding scale fee, please let me know in our free 20 minute "Get to Know You" phone consultation or by filing out the contact form on this site.

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL IT TAKE?
Counseling is a nuanced practice, which is fitting as being human is nuanced. The number of sessions you may need will depend on the concerns you bring to the therapy room. I am happy to discuss this with you in our first session and throughout our work together.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
Payment is accepted in the form of credit cards, debit cards, or FSA/HSA cards as well as payment through select insurances. Please see the insurances accepted on this page.
WHAT IS THE "NO SURPRISES BILLING" ACT?
The No Surprises Billing Act was passed in 2020 as a part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act. It requires that all healthcare providers supply clients with a Good Faith Estimate of the cost of their care over the upcoming 12 month period. As is always true with therapy, it is difficult to predict the totality of your needs during the course of your care, however, I will work diligently in collaboration with you to ensure you are receiving only necessary care for the duration of your treatment with Rise Up Counseling. You will be provided a Good Faith Estimate at least three days prior to your first appointment with me, or your first appointment of a new calendar year.
